SMM glossary
The words you meet in SMM panels and supplier lists, explained plainly. Where it matters, we say how Orbismm handles it.
- API v2API v2 is the de facto standard SMM panel API: one endpoint, an API key and actions such as services, add, status, refill, cancel and balance. Any panel script that supports providers can use it.
- CancelCancelling stops an order. An order cancelled before it starts is refunded in full; one cancelled after it starts is refunded for the part that wasn’t delivered.
- Child panelA child panel is a copy of a panel’s storefront that runs under your own brand and domain and is fed entirely by the parent panel, usually for a monthly fee.
- Drip-feedDrip-feed splits one order into smaller runs over time, for example 1,000 likes as 10 runs of 100 every hour, so the growth looks gradual.
- DropA drop is when delivered units disappear after delivery, usually because the platform removes accounts or engagement it flags. Some drop is normal on most services.
- Idempotency keyAn idempotency key is a unique value sent with an API request so that sending the same request twice never creates a second order.
- Main providerA main provider is the panel or supplier that actually delivers an order. In practice there is no single main provider: most panels buy from several suppliers, and many suppliers buy from each other.
- Minimum and maximumThe minimum and maximum are the smallest and largest quantity a service accepts in one order. They are set by what the supplier lines behind the service can deliver.
- Non-dropNon-drop is a label for services whose delivered units rarely disappear. It describes low drop, not zero drop: platforms can still remove engagement at any time.
- PartialPartial is the status of an order that stopped before delivering its full quantity. The undelivered part should be refunded.
- Price per 1,000SMM services are priced per 1,000 units. An order of 500 costs half the listed price and an order of 5,000 costs five times it.
- RefillA refill re-delivers units that dropped, for free, within the service’s refill window. It restores the count; it is not a refund.
- Refill honouredRefill honoured is the share of refill requests that were actually delivered. It shows whether a refill window works in practice, not just on paper.
- Refill windowThe refill window is how long after delivery a service refills drops, for example 30 days, 60 days or lifetime. After it ends, drops are no longer covered.
- ReroutingRerouting moves an order that hasn’t started in time, or has stopped progressing, from one supplier line to a backup line, so the customer doesn’t wait on a stalled supplier.
- Reseller panelA reseller panel is an SMM panel built for people who resell services: wholesale prices, a standard API, bulk ordering and clear order statuses that can be passed on to their own customers.
- RetentionFor video views, retention is how long each view watches. Retention views are sold with a stated watch time, such as 1–3 minutes per view.
- SandboxA sandbox is a test environment: test API keys run full order lifecycles with play money, so you can build an integration without spending.
- Service IDA service ID is the number that identifies a service in a panel and its API. It is sent with every order, together with the link and the quantity.
- SMM panelAn SMM panel is a website that sells social media services, such as followers, likes and views, usually priced per 1,000. Most panels buy from suppliers or other panels and resell with a margin, through a web panel and an API.
- SpeedSpeed is how fast an order delivers once it has started, often shown as units per day or as the time to deliver 1,000.
- Start countThe start count is the number on the profile or post when delivery begins, for example 18,420 followers. It is the baseline for checking delivery and refills.
- Start timeStart time is how long an order takes from being placed to the first delivery. Many panels show a promised start time; a measured start time comes from real completed orders.
- Supplier lineA supplier line is one supplier’s version of a service. A panel can run the same service on several lines from different suppliers.
- WebhookA webhook is a message a provider’s server sends to yours when something changes, such as an order status, so your panel doesn’t need to poll.
